Social Experimental Installation Artwork
Hominid Era 21
This is a piece I have done in my years wandering around Beijing. I visited the most prosperous district of Beijing and asked for the materials by going into each store. This experience is the core of the artwork, bringing myself new insights on consumerism and anthropological ideas. The complete artwork, measuring 160cm by 120cm, is adorned with pieces from over 50 brands. Finally, I covered the board with PVC material to show how all the fancy labels eventually belong in the window displays as a "jungle" surrounding us, each a hominid of this structure. By displaying this social issue in a raw and unfiltered manner, I hope to prompt audiences and myself to reexamine themselves within the social context of consumerism and fashion. The artwork is currently on long-term exhibition at Moonshot Academy in Beijing.
Figure Skating
I have been in love with this sport for 13 years. I have skated on lakes, taught my friends to synchronize, entered synchronize skating teams, and promoted the sport where it was less well known.
Why skate?
skating at first was a sport that taught me perseverance. It is a combination of expression, aesthetics, and sportmanship. I have built friendship and tears along the way. Now that in Changshu, I perform for its one and only rink on weekends so that it does not shut down. It is the one place I go to when I am stressed

I was especially into two things, using photography to explore my roots and exploring the roots of photography. By discovering the ancient method of photography, I was able to technically develop and understand foundamental logic behind cameras.
